Dive In. Make a Difference.

Community Dives are the heart of the Caspar Cove Project.

From April through September, divers from across California gather on the last Saturday of each month to help restore Northern California's underwater forests by removing overabundant purple sea urchins.

These events are more than organized dive days—they're opportunities to connect with fellow ocean lovers, contribute to meaningful conservation, and become part of a growing community dedicated to kelp forest restoration.

Whether you've been diving Caspar Cove for years or are joining us for the first time, you'll find a welcoming and supportive community ready to help you get started.

What to Expect

  • Community potluck following most dive days

You don't have to wait for a community dive.

Divers are welcome to participate at Caspar Cove anytime during the season.
